Paul's Bio

Paul spent the first decade or so of his life in the Austin, Texas area and the second decade of his life in the Boston, Massachusetts area. He graduated from high school in the spring of 1997, at which point he went on to college at Purdue University in Indiana. He earned his bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and accomplished a few other notable things while at the university. One of his greatest accomplishments while in school was the founding of the Purdue Outing Club Adventure Race, which contrary to popular belief, was originally partly his girlfriend's (Saesha's) idea. The Purdue Outing Club Adventure Race is reserved only for those type A pain-loving psychotics that make up the Purdue Outing Club.

During the summer of his junior year, Paul worked at the Summit Haus at the base of Mt. Rainier. This is where he met Saesha. Miraculously they have been together ever since.

Sea Heather probably wouldn't float, or at least not float very long without Paul's expert mechanical abilities onboard. One of his greatest assets is being able to fix nearly anything. Of course, his desire to "modify" everything on board is often met with a stern glance from Saesha. Paul's favorite thing to do is too wait for Saesha to get the boat all shiny and clean and then start a new project! He loves to start with a nice clean boat. Of course, it is often quite shocking for Saesha to come home from work and to find Paul sitting on the floor of her once clean boat, surrounded by tools and parts, with a puzzled expression lining his face.
